- The tape should be snug but not tight
- Take the measurement while wearing a well-fitting bra
2 Waist
- Find your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso)
- Wrap the tape around your waist
- Keep the tape parallel to the floor
- Breathe normally and don't suck in your stomach
3 Hip
- Stand with your feet together
- Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips
- This is usually about 7-9 inches below your waistline
- Keep the tape parallel to the floor
