Beyond The Fabric
The choices behind a Halfen House piece extend beyond its main fabric.
Making the Most of Our Material
Leftover and deadstock fabrics are kept and reused whenever possible. We use them to develop new prototypes and transform suitable remnants into accessories, helping us make fuller use of the materials already in our hands.
Selected pieces are also finished with bio-based polyester buttons, extending our material considerations to the smaller components of our garments.
Thoughtful Packaging
Our packaging is eco-designed and carefully selected to reduce environmental impact while protecting each piece.
Some elements are compostable, while others are fully recyclable, depending on their function. We prioritize kraft paper and corrugated cardboard, using minimal ink coverage and simple printing processes. Packaging is plastic-free whenever possible and produced in Europe to support responsible supply chains.We encourage reuse and proper disposal to extend the life of every material.
Tested in Real Life
Before production, our prototypes are worn and washed by our founders. This allows us to understand how each piece fits, feels and performs in real life, and to make adjustments before moving into production.
